Sacred Dance With Carmel Lowther

Carmel Lowther first got involved in Sacred Dance over 25 years ago.  She participated in her first dance training in 1998 and has since completed several intensive dance training sessions both in Ireland and Germany. She is very grateful to have had the opportunity to dance with numerous Sacred Dance teachers over the years in Ireland, Germany and the UK.

After meeting Friedel-Kloke-Eibl from the Dance Meditation/Sacred Dance Institute in Germany in the year 2000, dance took on a whole new perspective for her.  An inner transformation of sorts happened, and an opening into a deeper understanding of the healing power of dance and music occurred.   This led to her focusing more intensely on Friedel’s choreographies, discovering the richness these dances had to offer both Spiritually and Holistically.

In 2008 Carmel was invited to organise ongoing dance workshops in Ireland for Friedel and her daughter Saskia.  These have been a great success, and she is very happy to announce that they are both returning to Ireland in April and September.
