Sacred Creation Event 2 – ‘Celebration of the Autumnal Equinox’

Sacred Creation:- Heaven and Earth are Full of your Glory

All life is interconnected and woven into the great tapestry of life – each life has its part, is necessary, is willed and loved by God.  At the Margaret Aylward centre we are committed to celebrating God’s gift of creation and raising awareness of our Christian duty  towards its protection and flourishing. Beginning in September we are hosting a monthly series of events exploring and celebrating the Divine Energy that lives and moves throughout creation. These events are intended to help us reflect on our place within creation and to see the hand of God in the cycles and rhythm of the year.

‘Celebration of the Autumnal Equinox’  The Sun is directly above our equator and from that moment onwards our part of the Earth, on its rotation around the Sun will begin to slowly tilt away from it; our winter will come and the Nature will rest. God is in this moment – The equinox is a cosmic moment of Divine grace-a moment when the seasons change and our Creator God continues to sustain Nature as it begins its rest. We will recover our sense of wonder and our sense of the sacred, only if we appreciate the universe beyond ourselves as a revelatory experience of that…presence whence all things came into being.
