Cathy Mc Carthy is a cancer survivor and author from Athlone, now living in Dublin.

“My cancer diagnosis changed my life, making me appreciate my blessings and embrace a purposeful existence. I help others through talks at Cancer Support Centres and find solace in creating and selling pebble art. I believe in the power of kindness and strive to leave a positive impact on the world. Driven by the belief that everyone has a light within them, I strive to shine my own light and make a positive impact on the world.

I am motivated by Gandhi’s words – “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
